The Big Mountain Enduro stop #3/Finals will take place in Angel Fire, NM on October 10th and 11th with a two-day race entailing upwards of 12’000 feet of long technical descents throughout the weekend. Racers can expect 3 to 4 stages per day on some of the most legit trails in the country, and some freshly designed courses that have never been raced before.
Angel Fire Bike Park is the largest Bike Park in the Rocky Mountains and has been voted Best in the Southwest by MTBparks.com 5 years in a row. Come experience 2,000+ vertical feet descents, 60+ miles of purpose built lift-served terrain featuring the best jump lines, manicured flow and super chunk trails the United States has to offer. The Angel Fire BME will be one of the newest locations on the tour and combine technical trails that will challenge both riders, and their equipment to the fullest.
Amongst this venue, BME will offer its standard world-class Enduro racing with an added Big Mountain Demo festival taking place at Angel Fire Resort. Official practice will take place on Thursday and Friday, and course maps will be released on Wednesday evening. Expect fun and entertainment all weekend long for the entire family to enjoy, along with the great trails and good vibes that BME events have become known for. On-site camping and lodging is also available for athletes and industry sponsors.
No tech support will be offered while out on course (only in pit area). The BME sponsor and vendor village will be located in the base village, where the pre and post-race excitement will unfold. Here we will have full tech support provided by Maxxis, Shimano and FOX, as well as a deejay, beer, media buzz and the fun camaraderie that the BME is known for.
